Aegis Packaging

Aegis Packaging is a Singapore based company that manufactures high barrier coating for flexible plastic packaging. High barrier coating protects our food longer, increasing shelf life and reduces food wastage.

Our ambition is to be a solution provider by design for a circular economy. We have developed recyclable mono-material packaging aimed to replace aluminum foil and PET materials for a cleaner plastic recycling process. Our O₂X™ high barrier coating production is also clean, has zero waste and is low on carbon footprint. O₂X™ enables the possibility of combining similar substrate layers into a mono-material packaging product. Mono-material packaging is recyclable as all layers are made of the same type of plastic, which makes sorting easier and leads to cleaner recycling streams. Types of substrate used are typically polyethylene or polypropylene and it can be 2 ply or 3 ply combination.
