BRF was created in 2009, after the merger of Sadia and Perdigão. After the merger, finalized in 2012, the company became one of the giants in the global food market. Today, we are one of the main exporters of animal protein on the planet, with foods that reach 110 countries. 

We participate in the everyday lives of people and we work hard with the communities in which we operate, combining sustainable practices, product innovation and a universe of flavors. Our portfolio totals more than five thousand products and we continue to introduce into the market a variety of new products developed at our Innovation Center. Today, we have more than 100 thousand employees in 49 factories spread throughout Brazil, as well as nine industrial units in operation abroad.
