Dayton Systems Group
Dayton Systems Group (DSG) was founded by Henry C. (Hank) Bachmann in 1993. Mr. Bachmann's vision was to develop a practical resealable closure system for the beverage and food markets. Four years in development and 10 patents later, DSG introduced the first practical resealable can closure at the Cannex show in 2001. Designed as an alternative to pull tab closures the new CAP CAN® resealable closure is an industry changing innovation. With CAP CAN technology, can makers can now compete head-to-head with PET and glass containers in the beverage markets by adding the value and convenience of resealability.
DSG also designs and manufactures ABP systems for lid bagging. Employing state-of-the-art technology, these ABP systems have set the standard in the industry for reliability, efficiency, and ease of operations.
Founded on a vision driven by extensive hands-on experience in the can industry, DSG continues leading-edge development in containers, beverage, hot-fill, and retort products. Practical yet innovative engineering has brought that vision into reality in the form of new process concepts and new product development. The vision continues.
