Gravure Packaging

GPL is a  privately owned rotogravure based flexible packaging company located 15 minutes from the Wellington CBD in Petone.

GPL was established in 1984 with the intention of providing New Zealand FMCG businesses with a unique selling position of high quality gravure printed packaging.

After wide success in the domestic market highlighted by strong growth in our shrink sleeve category, we expanded our capabilities to offer the GPL service to Australian customers.

With switching costs at a minimum due to our short lead times and efficient manufacturing, the GPL future growth is throughout New Zealand and Australia
Further development of the company via a sales office in Sydney has resulted in our presence felt throughout the Asia Pacific region in the form of direct and indirect exporting.

At GPL our Rotogravure presses can comprise of up to 10 colours in a single run with reverse printing, coating and lamination as available options.

Our signature products are; Shrink Sleeves, Flow Wraps, and customer specified Labels. Other examples of GPL’s flexible packaging capabilities include Overwraps, Die Cut Labels, Food Contact Labels and Light weight board.

We have a diverse range of customers within the FMCG industry resulting in a large product portfolio.
