RochaCenter - Centro de Pós-colheita e Tecnologia ACE
RochaCenter – Centro de Pós-Colheita e Tecnologia, ACE is a complementary group of companies established in October 2017 at the Instituto Superior de Agronomia (ISA). Its objective is to provide services to improve post-harvest and technologies for Rocha pears and other fruits produced or sold by its members. To date, it has 17 groups that represent around 80% of the national production of Rocha pears.
Located in the center of the Oeste region, recognized for its natural and human factors and responsible for the characteristics and quality of the Rocha do Oeste PDO pear.
RochaCenter is located in spaces provided by the Bombarral City Council and has storage, conservation and monitoring equipment that allows it to implement and test different storage and conservation methodologies and a fully equipped laboratory that allows it to monitor and characterize the physiological state of the fruits throughout the post-harvest period.
