After an epic second spell at Iceland i am now semi retiring to support several selected companies in various capacities which include sales, marketing, buying, product launch systems, packaging and of course plastic removal. I leave a legacy of achievements including a simple Own Label launch system, sophisticated specification system and Packaging on shelf that matches or betters any in the market. In addition, with the support of the board of Iceland I have been privileged to drive the move out of plastics- a world first! I even had my 5 minutes of fame on TV. You cannot achieve all this without support and a team, and I have relished the great backing from colleagues in every department of Iceland from product development, buyers, design, HR, stores and so on. Thanks, must also go to all the Packaging and Product Suppliers who have been on the massive transition out of plastics, introduction of Digital Print and rapid reaction to business needs. The future looks excellent. Fellow of the Institue of Packaging(FIMMM) APkgPrf Kicked off in Iceland in Jan 2018 to remove all plastics from our Own Label ranges following huge support from celebrities, government, customers, Greenpiece and it goes on. A world First! Extensive experience of launching FMCG packaged products. Developed at Sun Branding a new type of company-Brand Lifecycle Management Agency. This would include Design, Artwork, Pre -press, Packaging Engineering. Legal Sign off and unique software to automate artwork and the whole process. Introduced this into many global brands and retailers. I have also been a Sales Director of 3 companies. Trained as a Packaging Technologist and in Marketing and Buying. Worked in Retail for the Co-operative and Iceland for 15 years until mid 90'​ then rejoined in 2013. Know for my "can do"​ attitude and always have a smile and massive passion!
