AB InBev will be asking AIPIA members to pitch their ideas on how to overcome some of the supply chain/consumer engagement/ESG issues in a dynamic session where each of them only has a few minutes to put across their ideas.
At the end of the pitches the AB InBev will choose three ideas it has heard which they may choose to take forward with the companies on a one-to-one basis.

At the beginning of the year the Dutch government funded project Smart Packaging for Intelligent Logistics was officially launched at a ‘kick off’ meeting of the consortium, which includes DHL, Packz, Holst Centre, Wageningen University, Pack4Food, GSI, etc. AIPIA is the coordinator of the project, which is managed by Berenschot. RESEARCH METHODOLOGY This report is partly based on the findings of a survey conducted by Deloitte between November 2017 and February 2018. Survey respondents included 425 North American business executives from 12 industries. More than 70% of respondents represented companies with revenues of more than US$1 billion. Almost 90% were in senior management roles. The margin of error for the entire data set is plus or minus 5 to 6 percentage points.

In January 2020 AIPIA and a consortium of companies will begin an ambitious project, funded by OpZuid and the European Union, to develop a Smart Packaging in Intelligent Logistics platform which can become an industry wide standard.
This is a three year project which will be coordinated AIPIA in association with Berenschot.
