Identiv, an AIPIA member and a major sponsor of the World Congress in 2025, a leading provider of  RFID and BLE-enabled Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, and the Axia Institute at Michigan State University, are joining forces to present a webinar on March 12, hosted by industry alliance AIM.

Called Doubling the RFID Advantage in Retail and Healthcare with Dual-Frequency Technology,  the webinar  coincides with the launch of a new product family Identiv will unveil that day.

Traditionally, RAIN RFID (UHF) is a key technology for supply chain optimization while NFC opens up new levels for customer engagement and product authentication. Based on state-of-the-art RAINFC ICs from EM Microelectronic, Identiv's forthcoming dual-frequency products will combine the specific advantages of each technology, making a significant impact on the retail and pharmaceutical industries by fostering consumer engagement, ensuring product authenticity, and mitigating fraud, all while enhancing supply chain transparency, streamlining logistics, and optimizing distribution tracking, it says.

In the webinar hosted by the global industry alliance AIM, Identiv will present a demo of an e-leaflet application for the pharmaceutical industry developed by the company in collaboration with Axia Institute This features EM Microelectronic's advanced RAIN RFID, HF/NFC technology and illustrates the disruptive capabilities of dual-frequency, according to the partners.
