AIPIA/AWA World Congress ’24: The future direction of Packaging – in one place!

With just two weeks to go before the AIPIA/AWA Smart Packaging World Congress opens its doors in Amsterdam the finishing touches to the program have been made. As usual the agenda ranges across every aspect of the Smart Packaging landscape with Panels comprised of Brand Owners, Retail Representatives and Technology Providers looking at strategic issues, matched with deeper dives into some of the latest innovations and developments.

Panels will look at topics such as: How Digital Technology Transforms Packaging; The Need to Modernize the Clinical Supply Chain; Leveraging Smart and Connected Packaging for Your Brand; and a look to the future with a Leadership Panel, Envisioning the Future of Smart Packaging Innovations. These strategic discussion, with thought leaders from all parts of the value chain, will be neatly capped by a Keynote prior to the now famous Brand Challenge, when Omer Bin-Younos, Global Head of Packaging Nutrition Business and Head of Packaging Capability Nutrition / Ice Cream at Unilever will address the issue of Smart Packaging & Consumer Relevance.

The innovation program of more than 20 presentations, addressing the key themes of Driving Innovation in Connected Packaging; Food Safety & Security; Smart Packaging for Sustainability; and Powering Supply Chains and Data Management will give delegates a broad overview of some of the latest product advances. This is a sector of collaboration and partnerships – plenty of these will be in evidence, both on stage and in the exhibition area.

So it’s time for the industry to come together again for this unique event. Two days filled with some of the most exciting packaging around -  meeting the needs of the Now and looking to the Future. Packaging has undergone a huge transformation in the last decade, partly due to environmental issues, but also because consumers want to know more and be engaged with the product more. Food security and safety are now highly visible issues and supply chains need to be fixed. New rules and regulations on traceability and counterfeit goods need to be addressed. At every touchpoint Smart Packaging has a role to play – even in the confusing world of sustainability -  offering clarity and clear routes to solutions.

Come and be part of the voyage of discovery and see how the next generation of Packaging can be truly transformational. The full agenda and registration details are HERE
